We build off the energy we give each other and get our great reviews and reputation because our actors are lively and here to have a good time. We hold after hours bonfires, an end of season party and give each other suggestions & support all season long. Faq's
How old must you be to work at Eerie Acres?
You must be 18 years or older.
Do I need acting experience?
Acting or improv experience is preferred but not required. A positive attitude and enthusiasm to scare is the only thing that is required! A solid imagination and desire to have fun scaring people every Friday & Saturday night is helpful. Acting and improv experience will help you land the character and scenes you want, but is not required.
Can I choose my spot or character?
We do our best to place everyone in their scene of choice or a scene where they will best thrive but the Actor Manager will choose a role for you.
Do I need to provide my own costume?
In the past some of our actors have elected to design their own costume but your makeup, mask or costume will be provided.
Will there be an audition for actors?
There will be a small audition to determine if you are a good fir for Eerie Acres Farm. We will be in touch to set up an audition based on your schedule!
Do I have to be available every Friday and Saturday night in October?
Although we don’t require you to be available every single weekend in October, we hope that you will join us for the fun every Friday and Saturday night during the season.
What should I be prepared for if I am hired?
Being an part of our haunt family at Eerie Acres Farm is so much fun but it can also be a repetitive and strenuous activity. We provide water throughout the evening but be prepared to be scaring and on your feet for 4 hours every night. We throw an end of season party for our haunt family in appreciation for all your hard work. We know that we couldn’t do it without our actors!
Will I be paid?
Yes, all positions are paid. Compensation is based on experience.
