Every October, roughly forty of our neighbors clock in at dusk, put on a mask or a face full of latex, and spend four hours making grown adults scream. We’re now taking applications for the 2026 haunt family: scare actors, makeup artists and parking attendants.
What you should know
- All positions are paid. Compensation is based on experience.
- No acting experience required. Enthusiasm to scare is the only hard requirement. Improv or theater background just helps you land the scene you want.
- Costumes, masks and makeup are provided. (Some veterans design their own.)
- The season runs Friday and Saturday nights in October, roughly 7–10 PM, plus two Sundays. You don’t have to make every night, but we hope you will.
- Applicants under 18 need a Minor Child Participation Authorization Form and working papers.
There’s a short audition, nothing scary (for you, anyway). We’ll reach out to schedule it after you apply.

Why people come back
Our actors return year after year for the same reason the haunt exists at all: it’s fun. After-hours bonfires, an end-of-season party, and the specific joy of watching a linebacker-sized adult sprint out of a cornfield. Come learn the art of the scare with us.
